The service of SIMTOP is directed in particular at small and medium size companies engaged in the development, testing and manufacturing of mechanical components. It provides access to a unique selection of simulation techniques through the collaborative venture involving the Fraunhofer-Institutes and its partners interested in the simulation of manufacturing processes and the operational behavior of mechanical parts.

SIMTOP also helps in introducing Finite Element solutions into companies and in transferring the know-how to their workers.
